Each year in October more than seventy small business owners ‘set up shop’ in the beautiful gardens of Glenshiel to highlight their carefully chosen products.

Stall holders travel from as far afield as Cape Town, Plett and the Natal Midlands, to offer Jozi residents some of the most stylish and ‘on-trend’ products only seen on the pages of local style and fashion magazines. Luxury offerings include beautifully crafted bags, shoes and belts, clothing and scarves, gorgeous linens, table decor, jewellery, bespoke stationery and ceramics as well as handcrafted Christmas decorations and cakes.

The Glenshiel Fair is not your ‘everyday market’ and it’s not just about shopping. There is an enormous ‘feel good’ factor in attending the Glenshiel Fair. Profits raised from the hosting of the event are used by the Order of St John in South Africa (NPO 000-814) to further its community healthcare projects and partnerships.

For the past 15 years the Glenshiel Fair has prided itself on raising valuable funds for the Order of St John and its community projects in the areas of eye care and primary health care to those most in need.
